Brendan graduated with a Bsc Hons Degree in Occupational Health and Safety in 2009. Beginning his career with a contractor working for Utilities including the ESB in Ireland, Brendan soon moved into operational management roles with a multi-utility contractor in the UK working for DNOs such as SPEN, UKPN, ENWL, WPD, SSE and NIE Networks.
In 2015 Brendan saw a gap in resource training compliance.
Following years of living with the pain of managing resources for day-to-day work, inducting new starts and contractors and finding training providers to complete training and tender preparation, he decided to do something about it.
Following two years of research, he set out to build a cost efficient solution for companies to reduce resource training administration while ensuring resource training compliance. While doing this, he and his team built that same solution for training providers also!
Skillko was born | A multi award winning SaaS platform.

Dermot is an accomplished software technologist with over 15 years’ experience in developing and delivering large, distributed, internet-based systems.
Dermot was a Co-Founder of Boxever, which was acquired by the SiteCore Group. Dermot, as Chief Operations Officer for Skillko, ensures the operational cadence of the business to allow the company to scale effectively.

With over 15 years experience in the software space, Liam has worked globally and across many industries including advertising, legal, education and insurance.
Liam graduated from DCU with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications. Focused on delivering high quality, scalable systems within the given timeframe, he is now the Lead Engineer for Skillko’s engineering team, responsible for maintenance of existing applications along with product innovation and architecture.

Having worked previously in Ireland and the UK as an Area Manager for a global franchise business, Padraic then went onto work with Enterprise Ireland’s London office as Senior Market Advisor responsible for helping and advising Irish tech companies on how to scale their export strategy to the UK market.
Padraic now leads the Sales & Marketing fucntion for Skillko working towards achieving our growth KPI’s, identifying new opportunities within our target markets and increasing our brand awareness.
In his spare time, Padraic is an avid Sports & GAA fan, coaching at his local underage club.

Emer graduated with a Bsc Hons in Business & Tourism Management, followed by a Masters degree in DIT. She began her career in the hospitality sector working as an Events manager. With over 10 years of customer facing experience she moved into Hospitality IT with Oracle supporting businesses right across Europe.
Now, Emer leads the Skillko Customer Success team helping our clients successfully onboard onto the system, providing ongoing training and managing all customer queries.
In her spare time Emer is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys walking, swimming & cycling. Fun Fact Emer was a lifeguard at the London 2012 Olympics.
